ATLANTIC COLLECTIVE
We are an ensemble of classical musicians who tie together globally-inspired classical music from the past to today to show how humanity is connected across distances and eras. We feature an adaptive, flexible chamber configuration which allows for varied instrumentation and an in-depth exploration of musical and cultural ideas. Performances are a multi-sonic experience, drawing the listener in with an of array voicings and textures in a single program.
Atlantic Collective is more than a chamber ensemble that performs music from the traditional and contemporary canon. We believe that music helps us experience some of the most fundamental of human conditions — connection and harmony amongst one another. We perform music that goes beyond a formal concert experience and touches listeners on a personal level, feeling comforted by music from various ages and cultures, knowing as things change, the more they stay the same and the more we grow together.
